We launched our SSDB project on 30th June 2020. The aim of our project targets on the importance of taking care of self before they can take care of others. We discussed how we can care for ourselves such as living a healthy lifestyle and practicing good personal hygiene especially with the current COVID-19 situation. We then carried out a mini exercise session and everyone had fun working out! We also danced to the ‘COVID Safe ABC’ song to remind each other about the safety measures to be practiced in our daily lives.
We also drew out our peers who are onboard this SSDB learning journey together and noted down our project objectives in the SSDB booklet.
Next, we discussed on the various ways we can care for others ( family and community) and decided to learn some first-aid skills as we embarked onto the journey in discovering a whole new me!
Children were then guided to make portable first-aid kit pouch, including a list of essential items that would come in handy when they packed the items into the first-aid kit pouch.
We can’t wait for the upcoming SSDB activities lined up for us!!!
