As part of our ongoing effort to foster good relationship with our elderlies, the children from Kidz Meadow Eunos has made several visits to Muhammadiyah Health and Daycare Centre for Senior Citizens.
In the month of March, the children had made their first visit by performing a zumba exercise along with the elderlies. On top of that, they also performed a few songs, where the children and the elderlies use the DIY shakers that the children had made with their parentsduring. They also took the opportunity to have an interactive session with the senior citizens by asking simple questions and handing them appreciation note.
Wheres in the month of June, we had a fun Hari Raya celebration where our children came ready in their Hari raya outfits!
Apart from performing the famous ‘Raya raya raya’ song, children also took the opportunity to get the elderlies to dance along with them.
They later on played the game ‘passing parcel’ where a ketupat is passed around. Those elderlies who get the ketupat was asked to sing Raya songs or answer questions related to the celebration.
Before leaving, children wished them once again and handed Raya cookies to the ‘atuk’ and ‘nenek’ and also the staffs at the centre.
