I wonder how to make a coral reef?

The children deepen their knowledge about the ocean by exploring the coral reef. Through the story book title: A Coral reef by Anna Milbourne, the children learned that Coral Reef is not a plant but an ocean animals. Other than that, the children also learned that small fishes could use the coral reef to hide from the predator.

In the small group experience, children were immersed in the vibrant world of marine life as they embarked on an exciting journey to create their own coral reef masterpiece. Armed with an array of materials including clay, crepe paper, and pipe cleaners, they eagerly delved into the task at hand. With nimble fingers and keen focus, they meticulously traced the outlines of ocean animals using specially designed stencils, each stroke enhancing their fine motor skills and attention to detail. Manipulating the clay with expert precision, they sculpted intricate formations that mirrored the beauty of real-life reefs. As they twisted and turned pipe cleaners into vibrant, colorful corals, each twist a testament to their growing dexterity and imagination. Their sense of wonder was palpable as they explored the coral reef ecosystem, learning about the diverse array of creatures that call it home. With each stroke of clay and twist of pipe cleaner, they not only honed their fine motor skills but also cultivated a deeper appreciation for the beauty’s of natural world around them. They learned that by taking care the coral reef they also taking care the marine animals.
