On the 23rd May 2019, the Preppy Learners were invited to be part of the research study conducted by NParks that aimed to access children’s interactions with the nature playscapes, as well as the perceptions of children and teachers towards space. Ultimately, the results from these play spaces would be useful for the future development of Biophilic Playscapes across Singapore. There were ten stations to cover, and the few that the children enjoyed were The Stream, The Magical Woods and The Big Fig Adventure.
Children were seen being engaged in trying out all the stations. They communicate and worked together to solve the obstacles. After playtime, children were asked to indicate and draw their favourite play area.
