The children of Nursery 2 helped teachers during lessons times and also decided to make something for teachers.

Be a teacher for a day: during lesson time, some children assisted teachers with saying grace before lunch, and also be a teachers assistant for the day. They were also asked if it was easy being a teacher when they assisted and they said ‘ it is hard because friends don’t listen to me when I am talking. Maybe next time when you are talking I will try better to listen to you too.’

Baked potatoes: After discussing on making baked potatoes for teachers, they set out to ask teachers on the different toppings they prefer in it. When the ingredients came, the children worked on the baked potato and colored the kindness cards for teachers.

Teacher’s Day celebrations: The children worked on practicing a song of gratitude to teachers and performed to the teachers during the celebration.
