The next part of our project includes different activities that involved not only the children but also our dear parents in recycling and helping take good care of the environment. The children in Nursery, K1, and K2 answered some worksheets on how to save the Earth and the proper waste disposal as well as the separation of daily wastes (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The children had a better understanding of the adverse effects of not recycling and improper waste disposal. As the highlight of our project in recycling, the children and parents from Playgroup to the K2 class helped and donate recycled bottles that will be used as pots for the plants which the children decorated and planted with seedlings and will be donated to the Healthcare Heroes of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. We hope that through our young and little ways, we helped save the environment and reach out our support and appreciation to the people in the community.💕
