On 12th June 2019, the Preppy Learners went for a field trip at Hay Dairies Farm. Goats are sociable, curious and truly adorable creatures and a visit to this farm will surely be a memorable one for the little ones. Children learnt how milk is produced, pasteurized and then turned into delicious and nutritious ready-to-drink milk as well as fresh cheeses. Since it is a small farm, the children can really get up close to the goats. An exciting way to learn about goat farming, milking, and the benefits of goat milk!
As the children walk around, they’ll get to interact with the goats; the younger kids are extremely friendly and they love getting petted and stroked on the neck! Children were extremely excited to feed the goats! They had fun!
