We aim to promote healthy living and good personal hygiene for our young children that will nurture their disposition of gratefulness and appreciation of their parents and grandparents’ love and caring for them as a start. Gradually, we want our children to have lives filled with friendship, compassion and be able to appreciate lives.

- wash hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds
We facilitated children by letting children explore with the hand washing experiment, demonstrated and explained to children why we need to wash our hands before eating, after using the toilet and after playing outdoors:

Importance of Oral Health
- the proper way to brush teeth:
Children were being reinforced the importance of oral hygiene by
- making craft works - sets of good teeth for good practices and decay teeth for the defects of not taking care of the oral hygiene!
Kindergarten 2
Carried out the bread experiment of:
Clean Hands Vs Dirty Hands
For this experiment, the teacher prepare 3 pieces of bread and three zippered plastic bags.
- Have the children touch the first piece of bread BEFORE they wash their hands and place it in the bag labelled “dirty hands”
- Get the children to wash their hands with soap and water. Then touch the second bread and place it in the bag labelled “clean hands”.
- Next, get the children to wear the glove and touch the last piece of bread and place it in the bag labelled “ wear gloves”.
- Have them predict what will happen to each bag. Then observe the pieces of bread for 2 weeks and discusd what they saw.
At the end of the experiment, children discussed their finding and concluded that they touch the bread with dirty hand and the bread is so gross and there are so much germs compared to those 2 pieces of bread which they touched with clean hands or with gloves. They need to wash their hands with soap. They know the importance of washing hands and must remember to practice hygiene at all times.
Healthy living and good personal hygiene are the basic needs we aim to let our children to be satisfied, that will develop their secured wellbeing and emotional safety hence be happy as Happy Little Kids. We want our children to be resilient in the face of setbacks and failures that growing up always brings. We want them to be eager to learn and be willing to confront challenges!
