In the month of September, our children from PG to K2 worked hand in hand to make a garden just in front of our school! They have participated in planting seeds and watering the plants to help them grow. Some of the plants they planted were ginger, pandan leaves, chili peppers (bird’s eye), and garlic!
This activity promotes positive impact on appreciation and respect of nature among children. It also provides opportunities on hands-on and quality outdoor experiences for children as they help plants to grow. This gardening program helps to encourage chcildren to eat fruits and vegetables, promoting healthy eating habits.
