On 22nd April, our Kindergarten 1 and 2 classes officially launched the “Go Green with Me!” project. The launch party introduced the children to important topics like sustainability, environmental stewardship, and how their daily actions impact the planet. The event sparked thoughtful discussions about nature, plants, pollution, deforestation, and climate change, allowing the children to express their views on these issues.
This conversation empowered the children to think critically about solutions and their own role in protecting the environment. By identifying simple steps such as reducing waste, recycling, and participating in community clean-ups, the children learned how individual actions can contribute to a healthier planet.
As part of the launch, the children created pledge cards, writing down small but impactful actions they can take to “Go Green.” These pledges will serve as reminders of their commitment to making a difference, fostering a sense of responsibility and ambition in each child.
Through the “Start Small Dream Big” project, our children are not only learning about sustainability but also actively contributing to it, gaining a deeper understanding of how they can help build a brighter, greener future.
