Our Green Project for Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) 2017 begins with the Kindergarten children, as well as families of Brilliant Tots @ Kelulut, contributing recyclable materials such as plastic bottles, newspapers, old cardboards, etc. Further, the children also contributed old clothes, old storybooks and toys, that were donated to the Salvation Army as part of our project, to help those in need.
To further enhance and enrich their experiences, Brilliant Tots children, together with our team of teachers, headed out to our neighbourhood areas to collect even more recyclable items. Thanks to our friendly and supportive neighbours, our sweaty heads were made worthwhile under the sweltering heat as we managed to collect a trolleyful of items to be recycled and donated.
The experiences gained were indeed an enriching and valuable one, as the children learnt and realised the differences they can make in helping to save the Earth, with their mighty little efforts. Moreover, this project also helped increase their awareness of what they can do to keep our environment clean and green.
Henceforth, every little dream starts from small. If our little ones can do it, we can all do it together too! Let’s all start small, and make our dreams big together!
