Children, together with teachers and parents of PCF Sparkletots Blk 556 held the Go Green Day cum Start Small Dream Big Project last 20 July 2019.
As part of the Go Green Campaign, children, teachers and parents of PCF Sparkletots blk 556 created atleast 150 upcycled materials made from old recyclable materials such as boxes, old fabrics, plastic bottles and various kinds of containers. With parent’s collaboration, Go Green Day cum Start Small Dream Big Project was held at the centre to sell the upcycled materials. Parents supported by buying Green Day coupons worth $10 each to be used in purchasing the upcycled products and some bought coupons as a donation to Children’s Cancer Foundation.
Each class set up their own booths displayed to market the products that have been collected. K2 and K1 children were assigned to sell the upcycled products to the parents and children
Parents graced the event by ringing the bells as a signal of the commencement of the event. They walked along the walkway where booths were set up as children call on to their potential ‘customers’
Parents and teachers have shown their support by buying upcycled products that they liked.
