Our theme is to inculcate positive values in children in terms of kindness and compassion towards others and to the community.
As such, we decided to have a food donation drive where it would be very helpful for those who have lost their jobs or elderly who need food ration during this COVID-19 pandemic situation. We had discussions and sharing sessions with the children about helping others who are in need through videos, brainstorming and sharing of personal experiences.
We collaborated with Food From the Heart (FFTH) organisation to contribute food donations for the needy. Parents were forthcoming and donated many essential food items for the donation drive. As a form of appreciation for the parents, the children did Nagomi art, pencil holders and Thank You frames.
