As part of our Learning Journey, the K1s & K2s paid a visit to Hort Park. The objective of this activity is to provide greater exposure to the children on elements of nature such as the different flora and fauna that is available.
The learning journey is a fruitful trip for the children as they gain a greater awareness on different parts of the plants as well as different types of plants in the Hort Park.
They also completed an activity booklet specially prepared by the teachers for the trip so as to make learning more meaningful and purposeful for the children.
The highlight of the trip would be the opportunity to visit the Pitter Potter Garden for children where they get to be up close to different types of plants as they smell, touch and draw the different plants that they see.
