Carrying a spray bottle, a tray of potting soil, some planting pots and recycled plastic spoons, and a precious packet of chin chow seeds, a group of K2 children, led by 2 teachers, stepped out of the centre in a cloudy morning on 18 August 2022. They were embarking on the next phase of the centre’s Garden Harmony @ Tampines Central Blk 868A SSDB project.
Under the supervision of the teachers, the children transferred soil from the tray into the planting pots. Then they planted the chin chow seeds and moistened the seed-beraing soil with liberal sprays of water.
With proper care in the days, weeks and months ahead, each seed has the potential to grow into a healthy chin chow plant. Likewise, each Sparkletot can grow and develop into a confident, creative and caring individual with the love and encouragement of his/her parents and family, and proper guidance and support from the Sparkletots team at Tampine Central blk 868A.
