We gave British Council Pre-School’s garden a total make-over or affectionately known as ‘bloom-over’, in June for our SSDB Project 2018. The Kindergarten 1 children’s hard work paid off when pretty leaves grew and the garden looked beautiful with the fairy garden decorations which children made with an expert visitor. Project “Garden Bloom-over” began at the end of May this year. Our Garden Committee first cleared the garden and prepared the soil. Teachers and children then researched on possible new plants and worked with NParks to finalise our choices. After much discussion amongst teachers, children and NParks, it was decided that the most ideal plants would be the vibrant Coleus and the Wedelia Carnosa. Planting Day was a success with most parents offering support to our Kindergarten 1 gardeners!
