Phase 5 : Reflecting on the cultures and the SSDB Tagline “Embrace Our Uniqueness & Conquer Kindness with The World”.
During Racial Harmony Day, teachers prepared powerpoint slides consist of all the different races in Singapore and reflect back on the cultures around them which they learnt in previous phase. Teachers asked questions to let the children reflect back on what they have learnt. Well done! Most children were able to answer promptly.
Foods, celebrations, dance and clothes from different culture were also included in the powerpoint slides.
Children were taught to respect and accept other races and religions. In order to conquer kindness, we need all hands to unite regardless of race or religion.
Items that were displayed in the gallery walk.

Children were given opportunities to touch, feel and see the real items that were introduced.
