We have chosen to partner with the Agri-food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) to bring about the awareness of responsible pet owners and that having a pet is a lifetime commitment. The aim is to inculcate in our children’s young minds on the need to care for animals. Our children may not understand that some actions they are doing may unintentionally be abusive to the animals. We invited Action for Singapore Dogs to share about their rescue effort and program to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned dogs To lend a helping hand to Action for Singapore dogs, we decided to raise funds for them through our carnival. Our children performed in the concert. Parents participated and donated generously by supporting our games and food stalls. We would like to specially mention our little composer Faith Aw who composed a song and she performed the songduring the carnival. It is indeed with the spirit of Start Small Dream Big that we endeavour to do something to serve others.
