On the 16h of September, PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Braddell Heights 417 officially marks the opening of the Innovation Guidance Project cum Start Small Dream Big Exhibition: ALL ABOUT CASSOWARIES.A day to commemorate all the children’s hard work applying their knowledge about the Cassowary in partnership with Wildlife Reserves Singapore along with the different art and craft work done by the children.
Wishing Tree: a simple tree filled with wishes from the Parents to their Children and Children to their Parents.
It started off with opening address by our Centre Principal, Ms.Anne Yeow.
There was an outdoor gallary that featured the children’s work and photos of children at work.

Our community partner, WRS presented a very interesting show-and-tell about flightless birds.
WRS brought different flightless birds specimens including the Cassowary’s real casque, egg, feathers and leg skin! An interesting show for both the children and the adults as well!

Some of the art pieces both the K1 and K2 children had done are:3-picture photo frame, bug magnets, postcards, container jars, green bean eggs,handmade clay bead bracelets, diorama, clay containers, paper plate Cassowary in the rainforest, Yakult bottle butterflies, Cassowary art frames and personalized paper bags.
All items are made from recycled materials that were mostly contributed by the parents.
PCF Sparkletots @Braddell Heights 417 was able to raise $840! Hooorrraaayy! All proceeds will go to our community partner, WRS.
