“Yay, today we can go the S.E.A. Aquarium! We can see the sharks and also so many fishes inside the tank!”
The N2 to K2 levels went on a field trip to the S.E.A. Aquarium, where they participated in the tour-based preschool programmes to learn more about the marine environment.
“I know this one is the hammerhead shark! We need to protect the ocean if not the sharks and the fishes no more house already!”
The N2 children were involved in the S.E.A.A. Discovery Tour, where they were introduced to the wide variety of marine animals as well as the habitats that they live in. They also learnt to identify some simple characteristics that sea creatures have. Additionally, they discussed about the importance of conserving the oceans as well as some ways that they can help to preserve the marine environment.
“The animals will eat the trash then they will choke! We need to throw rubbish into rubbish bin!”
The K1 and K2 children participated in the Junior Underwater Exploration programme, where they learnt all about marine animals through interactive story-telling sessions. They could identify threats that sea creatures are facing in the ocean and talk about the importance of conserving the marine environment. In addition, they came up with some ways which they can contribute to protect the animals’ ocean home.
“I want to come here next time then I can teach my daddy mummy to save the animals and cannot throw plastic if not they will die!”
The N2 to K2 children enjoyed their field trip to the S.E.A. Aquarium and they had a fun experience discovering more about the marine kingdom! They have gained much insights about the marine animals living in their ocean habitat and they have learnt to play their part to conserve the marine environment.
