To conclude our SSDB project 2022, the children were engaged in various activities such as completing puzzles, creating posters on food safety and supporting local food.
While discussing about food safety, the children were able to answer confidently on the food safety tips! “We must wash our hands before we touch the food”, “Separate the raw fish from my fried chicken!”, “Don’t put the frozen food on the kitchen table” “Must also cook it very well if not we can get food poisoning”.
Parents were involved by creating a recipe using locally produced food with their children. Many came up with adorable and interesting stories on where they bought their ingredients from and the steps for their yummy recipe. The children shared with the class during Show and Tell a few photos of their dish and the process on how it was cooked.
We would like to thank parents for your continual support in this SSDB project!
