Our second project focuses on extending our initiative by actively involving parents to strengthen the connection between home and school. We have organized a Family Fun Art Day, where parents are invited to participate in a variety of engaging arts and crafts activities alongside their children. This event is designed to foster meaningful family bonding through creative expression, while also reinforcing the themes of our project. Parents will have the opportunity to collaborate with their children on art projects, deepening their connection and creating lasting memories. The event aims to highlight the importance of family engagement in the children’s learning journey.
As part of our SSDB Project, we introduced an activity where children and their parents collaboratively create a pledge by decorating a star-shaped template and writing their personal pledge on it. Once completed, the star pledges are displayed on our SSDB wall, alongside those of other families. This activity is designed to involve not only the children participating directly in the project but also extends to include children from across the center, from Infant to N1. It fosters a sense of community and togetherness, encouraging all families to contribute to the collective spirit of the project.
We hope that by the end of this project, we can highlight the importance of family bonding and raise awareness about the value of caring for our older generations. Through these activities, we aim to inspire families to strengthen their connections with one another and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the love, respect, and support that older family members deserve.
