The children did a mini launch on the “Start Small Dream Big” (SSDB) project, “Caring for the elderly”.
The K1’s created a pledge. They stamped their painted hands onto the mahjong paper in vowing to care for the elderly.
Next, the K1’s did elderly care packs which will be sent to an old folks home.
They send their regards to the elderly by writing little notes on the note pad.
The K2 children made an origami heart with a short message for the elderly in homes. In this tough period where visitors are limited during this period, the children felt sad knowing that nobody can visit them. They tried to imagined the sadness their grandparents or an elderly will feel. As such, they suggested making something that can represent a virtual hug to these elderly.
