After the first session of understanding who are the rough sleepers, the children experienced the live of a rough sleeper by bringing in cardboards and sleeping on it.
The children from the Nursery to Kindergarten 2 laid the cardboard on the classroom floor and pretended to sleep on it. Some commented that the cardboards were very hard. One of the child showed empathy by commenting that the night will be very cold without any blanket.
From this sharing session, the children understand the inconvenience of COVID and how these rough sleepers need to stay away from their love ones in Malaysia so that they can earn enough money to buy food and to meet the basic needs of their family.
