Children were exposed their love to nature. After much discussion, they show interest and love on how to care for the nature. Teacher shared a story entitled “Gemma & Grandpa, The Nature Explorers”. Children learnt a lot more through this storytelling session on how they can save the Earth.
Teachers introduced the children about “zero waste”. During June holiday programme, one of the topic is to create “Eco Enzyme Fertilizer”. The ingredient are fruits and vegetables scraps, herbs, vinegar, brown sugar and tap water. As documented during the making process the children has fun learning new things. It took 3 months to prepare the fertilizer. They also acquire new knowledge that this fertiIizer is useful for the plants to grow heathily. As our school collaborated with the Community Sky Garden, this eco enzyme fertilizer will be given to the gardeners.
