For this week, we send two representatives from N2 to go to nearby convenience shop to create awareness to the public importance of saving the Earth to bring your own bag. After both kids shared with the customer that came to Uncle shop, customer gave back the plastic to uncle. Good job children!
This week, the K2 children recapped on the importance of reducing plastic consumption in the neighbourhood and also took a look at the poster they made last lesson - ‘Say no to straws’. Two representatives were tasked to make their way to a nearby drink stall to pin up the poster in order to create more awareness. They were very excited for their work to be displayed publicly to make a difference. Well done, children!
This week, the children visited the neighborhood coffee shop to raise awareness on recycling. 2 of the K1 children represent the class to put up the posters made out of recycled containers, plastic forks and spoons, to encourage and remind the plastic to bring their own containers and refrain from taking the plastic utensils when buying food. The 2 representatives went back to class and shared their experiences with the rest of the children and they felt happy for being able to contribute in protecting our Earth. Well done, children!
