My First Skool at blk 18 Marine Terrace had our last session with the elders of Goodlife! on 6th July 2018. To wrap our last engagement session; the children, teachers and parents prepared a party for them!
We started the session with some exercise and dance!
We played together and showed the elders our classroom where we study and play!
Food brings people together
Special thanks to our parent volunteers who came down to help. They worked together with their children to prepare for the session.
The Nursery children prepared goodie bags to give to the elders at Goodlife! Parents showed their support in our efforts to connect and give back to the community through their donations.
Some of the K2 children and elders had a vlogging session where they shared their thoughts about the sessions.
Sharing memorable moments
Connecting Hearts With Technology was a refreshing and engaging approach for the children to be a part of service learning where they connect with elders bridging the inter-generation gap.
