Continuing on from our ‘Keep Clean, Singapore’ project and in line with demonstrating care for our community through our larger ‘Start Small, Dream Big’ project, our Nursery-K2 children created a brochure regarding the effects of using plastic on our environment.
Their brochure explored such areas as the cause of water, air and soil pollution related to plastic production and disposal, reasons why plastic is so detrimental to our environment, and ways in which we can reduce our use of plastics in our everyday life.
Last month they distributed this brochure in our community, engaging with our neighbours and sharing what they had discovered about this important issue. It was great to see our students demonstrating what they had learned and sharing it through community outreach.
