As part of our BGB SSDB Project 2021 ‘Furfriends leave prints on our heart’, we invited professionals from WHISKEY’S to host a Zoom session with our children. WHISKEY’S offers pet grooming and pet boarding services.
They kindly did up a video on their end to show children around their shop as we were not able to visit due to COVID19 restrictions. They talked more about pet grooming and how to properly care for pets. They did an introduction on the different dog breeds and shared the types of food and products used in caring for a pet. Children also got to ask questions regarding things that they were unsure of.
After the session, children were given a set of puppy origami as a take-home activity to complete with parents. They then brought it back to school for a show and tell session!
