The children and their mothers celebrated mother’s day at Gardens by the Bay on 18 May 2018. At Gardens by the Bay, the children and their mothers had a bonding session activity, ‘Spot and Selfie’ where they had to identify landmarks at Gardens by the Bay and take a selfie with the landmark.
After the ‘Spot the Selfie’ challenge, there was a break where the children were free to explore the water play area at Gardens by the Bay while their mothers themselves had a little ‘picnic’ and bonding session amongst themselves and with the teachers.
Following the bonding and water play session, the innovation guidance project (IGP) on ‘A Pet is for Life’ and SSDB we’re briefed to the mothers and the mothers and their children worked together to create their very own project-related pledges on the star cards provided.
The event ended with the children’s song and dance performances for their mothers followed by presenting to their mothers a Certificate of Honour signed off by the children themselves.
