To keep the environment a clean and safe place, the K2, K1 and N2 children held a clean-up day in the centre. A clean-up day involves cleaning up their classrooms, picking up litter at the playground, removing trash at the school area, washing of toys and watering the plants.
This activity helps the children learn to be responsible and to value their environment. Cleaning up teaches them to appreciate the effort that goes into doing a job. It also teaches them to care and demonstrate respect to the place where they live.
As the saying goes, “When your environment is clean, you feel happy, motivated and healthy”.
