On the 5th October 2017, our school had our children’s day celebrations and also our preparation for our visit to the SWAMI Home for the elderly on the 12th October 2017.
Our school had invited parents to contribute donations for the visit and our generous parents had contributed so much of items such as rice, biscuits, milk powder, toothpaste, oats and so much more.
During our children’s day celebration children dedicated their time aside to think and carry out activities to prepare for our visit on the 12th October 2017.
Nursery level children coloured Thank You cards to be put in goodie bags packed speacially for the residents of SWAMI.
K1 students were so excited and engaged in packing goodie bags for the SWAMI residents to be given away on the day of visit. See the seriousness and happiness in our children’s face.
Not forgetting our K2s. Our K2s were busy creating a craftwork for the elderly at the SWAMI Home. They had good teamwork as the children worked together to create the artwork.
Our school looks forward to our visit to the SWAMI Home on the 12th October 2017 with all the generous donations from our loving parents.
