On 11 June 2019 (Tuesday), Teachers conducted a Talk about “Father’s Day”. The objectives of the talk are for children:

to learn and appreciate more about “Father’s Day” and some historical background of Father’s Day Celebrations as well as how did some others celebrate Father’s Day.

to share about their father’s love and care for them;
-
to learn and share about many ways that they could:
o express their gratitude to their father’s love and care for them; and
o celebrate Father’s Day.
“Why do we celebrate Father’s Day ?”
“How did you celebrate Father’s Dat last year?”
“I want to cycle with my daddy on Father’s Day.”
On 14 June 2019 (Friday), we invited parents to participate in Father’s Day Celebrations in our centre.
For the celebrations, we have:

children performance with theme related to Father’s Day;
-
in conjunction with the theme “Marine Life and Conservations” and Learning Journey to S.E.A. Aquarium under our “WOW Wild Learn” Programme, we had a skid performance (in Mandarin) on Sea Creatures and Save the Ocean;

parental involvement activities; and
-
children presented gifts to their parents.
Children line up in two rows to welcome their parents for coming to attend the event.
First, start with children performances.
Children sand an English song with drama to show how much love that father had given since the child was still a baby.
Children shard what’s in their mind about their daddy during performance.
Skit performance by children about Sea Creatires and save the Ocean.
Parents, Children pledged together with teachers to play a part in saving sea creatures and ocean.
Let’s have a group photograph before the end of celebrations.
