Box Surprise! We had the unboxing of the SSDB Box in front of our theme wall!
As the children slowly unboxed all the items from the SSDB Box, their eyes gleamed with excitement when they were given their own SSDB bucket hats and matching masks! How lovely!
The children had been briefed by Teacher Janice on our “Charis Cares!” project, and were made aware that they could make a difference by being kind, compassionate, and by sharing with others.
Our theme “Charis Cares!” resonates with the children as they have been imbued with these Christian values in school. Acts of kindness in school and at home occur naturally and spontaneously.
They posed together, donning their SSDB hats and masks, and holding the SSDB banner proudly as they smiled widely.
They quickly embarked on their collaborative artwork and added bright and interesting touches of colour as they expressed their thoughts and feelings through their art.
They are excited to make a difference to the world they live in!
