This year our start SMDB project is to get our little ones to show their love and care for the elderly. We named our project ‘Chain of love’. Children in our school we asked to make a mask chain for their family and collect donations to buy groceries for the elderly going to the elderly care. Children got to know that there are elderly people who goes to a place like them daily. Instead of a child care, grandpa and grandma will go to an elderly care in the day to have fun and goes back home in the late afternoon just like them.
To Kickstart, we got the school children to create a long chain using toilet rolls and painting them with their favorite colours.
Next, teachers got colorful plastic links for the little ones to make their Chain of Love.
