This year’s launch party maybe challenging but with the continous support of the children and parents, it was a success!
We presented the Edible Garden plan as the focus of our SSDB project. The parents were also delighted to see the past projects that we did and get to know more about our goals every year.
We also asked the parents to adopt kangkong seeds where the children will not only be observing the growth of the plant but will also develop responsibility in taking care of their own vegetable at home with their families. Once the kangkong grow, the children will bring it to school on our Annual Harvest day.
The K1s and K2s planted our school’s kangkong seeds as we hope to harvest enough and give to patients and healthcare heroes of our hospital.
The N2s came to participate in watering the seeds too! With teamwork our children will help our edible garden to flourish.
