Everyone gathered at the music room today for the official opening of SSDB!
To begin, our teachers took on the roles of the 4 different mascot of SSDB and the children had to chance to interact with them.
Start… The first step is to start somewhere! Small… It is okay if you are small!
Dream… Everyone has something they wish for! What is yours?
Big…. We can do big things!
Next, the children found out where we will be going…. SPD! And since the children have been going on a monthly visit since last term, they shared with each other what SPD is all about!
What do we do there?
We then broke down into groups and began writting our pledges and what we want to do onto our star cards.
Hard at work everybody! Whats happening to all our star cards… Exchanging for our bucket hat!
Look! We arranged it into a hanging mobile! Some children came up to share their work and others even praised their friends work!
Look at both of our mobile! This is my favourite!
To end the day, we sang the song- Kindness is a muscle!
