Singapore is a country rich in ethnic and cultural diversity. We have people from all over the world in this little red dot. As our children continue their project on discovering cultures and celebrations from the seven continents, they had a great time learning about the Mexicans! During the June holiday, children worked on sombrero, poncho and maracas with the help of their parents. Back in school we had a little Mexican Party where children made their own piñata and ate tortilla chips! Food, games and music are great ways to teach children about diversity. We look forward to embracing more cultures and celebrations through our SSDB project!
