“I like the pretty clothes the most! Every race have different one!”
During our Racial Harmony Day celebration in school, our K1 and K2 children celebrated this special occasion with a series of engaging activities as they discovered the true beauty of embracing diverse backgrounds in our community.
“Other than Chinese, I can see so many people outside that is not Chinese!”
Our K1 and K2 children were actively involved in a sharing session, where they unraveled the importance of accepting others coming from different backgrounds. Our children were able to understand more about the occasion as they learnt about various races, cultures and traditions within our Singapore community.
“Yay, time for games!”
After the introduction of diverse backgrounds, our K1 and K2 children found the games section most interesting. They were demonstrated on a variety of traditional games as they took turns to play with them alongside their friends. When asked “Which game is your favourite?”, our children shouted different answers enthusiastically.
