In July, the children in Agape Little Uni Jurong West learned about protecting and saving the natural environment. They planted beans in school using cotton and recycled plastic bottles. The children remembered to water the plants daily and took turns to do so each day. The teachers had brought them out to the Agape Garden to look at the plants and watered them too. They were really happy to be given the experience.
Still being on the topic of protecting the environment, children made posters out of recycled cardboards and painted in a group together. Once dried, they filled up the borders with various materials such as bottle caps, icecream stick, sequins and decorative papers. The teacher then wrote encouraging quotes on it and pasted it around the classroom.
