We came together to celebrate the National Day with the residents of level 5 Fu Hui Link Golden Care on 8 August 24. Fu Hui Link Golden Care offers essential support and assistance with daily activities for seniors living with dementia.
The purpose of this visit is to strengthen intergenerational bonds within our vibrant community by fostering meaningful interactions between children and elderly residents. The children engaged the seniors by singing and dancing to the beat of the song, “ I Love You” by Celine Dion. They decorated the tote bag with acrylic markers.
Additionally, the children and seniors had the opportunity to learn and recognise the iconic symbols that represent Singapore as the children guided and assisted the elderly to colour the various symbols that features Singapore, for example, Merlion, Orchid, Singapire map
