Our K1s and K2s embarked on a new journey as they visit our elderlies at Ghim Moh Senior Care Centre & Active Aging Hub every thursday of the week to bond, play games, exercise and do arts and crafts with them. Here are some of the fun activities children did with the elderlies:
Our children spent their time actively with the elderlies as they played different games such as “pool noodle volleyball”, “ball mobility exercise”, and “parachute ball toss”.
In lieu of the Hari Raya Celebration, our children performed a dance, “ Raya, Raya, Raya”. All the elderlies were amazed and entertained as they watched our children confidently danced in front of them.
As part of Grandparents Day Celebration, our children made an art and craft award ribbon for grandfathers and grandmothers. The elderlies were glad as the children dedicated the award ribbons to them.
Lastly, we also inculcate “caring for the less fortunate” with our children. With this, we decided to have a donation drive and a big thanks to our parents from Infant Care to K2 who donated dry foods which we distributed to the less fortunate with the help of ”Jampacked by Jamiyah”.
