In addition to our Family@The Park event, our children from TCC Hougang and Clementi brought back a take home craft cum tasks project, where they have to complete nine tasks in nine days to demonstrate care and appreciation to their family.

Day 6. Go for a walk together.

Day 7. Sing everyone a song,

Day 8. Go for a walk together, and

Day 9. Help pack school bag ready for school.
While our K1 and K2 Class children had to do the following:

Day 1. Help with a chore,

Day 2. Go for a walk together,
-
Day 3. Hug and tell everyone at home, “I love you”,

Day 4. Draw Daddy/Mummy a picture,

For every task done, the parents helped to reward the children by adding a ‘heart’ to their streamer. Upon completing all nine tasks, children and their families were encouraged to hang up the heart streamers around their house, take a photograph with it and submit it to their teachers.
Some photo submissions from children from TCC Hougang (top) and TCC Clementi (bottom).
Far right at bottom row: Makoto (K2) from TCC Clementi helping out with a chore at home.
A total of 45 children from TCC Hougang and 54 children from TCC Clementi participated in the tasks project with their supportive family! Every child who submitted their photographs was rewarded with a small token for their enthusiastic participation. We are so proud of them, and trust that every child had a fun and meaningful time expressing love for their family in practical ways.
