On 2 August, we brought our K1 and K2 children to the Fort Canning Centre for the Bicentennial Experience. All of us were excited and were looking forward for this special trip. Before the trip, we have shared with our K1 and K2 children about the history of Singapore.
When we reached our destination, we were briefed about the Bicentennial Experience. From Singapore to Singaporean: The Bicentennial Experience brings us back in time to discover key moments and watch defining events unfold in Singapore’s transformation from as far back as 1299.
Our K1 and K2 children went through the Time Traveller which is a 60 minutes immersive multimedia show within the Fort Canning Centre that presents a powerful experience of Singapore’s history across more than 700 years. Our K1 and K2 children have gone through the five acts played out in the galleries.
Next, our K1 and K2 children moved on to the nature outdoor. The Pathfinder is an outdoor experience comprising a set of pavilions with interactive elements that are situated within the Fort Canning area to allow for free and easy exploration.
