In order to reduce trash in our environment, our center has been practicing upcycling and continuously teaching our children the importance of kindness and respect.
For this year’s SSDB project, we aimed to strengthen our relationship and give back to one of our community partner “CARE CORNER SENIOR ACTIVITY CORNER” by pouring our love , kindness and care through organising a Carnival event and donation drive.
Parents were invited to our face to face SSD launch. Objectives, details,timeline of the project, as well as how could they contribute towards the success of this project were shared to them during the launch.
To reduce trash in the environment, our centre has been practicing up cycling; making use of recycled material to build and create new things. N2, K1 and K2 children created their artwork with the use of recyclables available in the school, which made them more and more adept at reusing materials.
The carnival event had given the children, teachers and elderlies opportunities to play, learn and communicate with each other and most importantly to raise, inculcate many values such as respect , friendship, kindness and open - hearted that will be beneficial in the community.
