BBTK children and their parents bless the seniors on BCS Meals-On-Wheels programme with Festive Packs. Their contributions of 208 festive packs brought some festive cheer and provided the frail and homebound seniors with practical essential items. In each festive pack, there was also a hand-made card by the children.
Bethesda Care Services (BCS) is the social outreach arm of Bethesda Bedok Tampines Church. Each year, Bethesda Care Services serves more than 3000 people living in the eastern part of Singapore. Their range of services include providing affordable before-and-after school care services; caring for the ageing needs of seniors; guiding families and youths in life’s challenges, as well as reaching out to the youths in ITE College East. BCS around 300 frail elderly clients on our Meals-on-Wheels Services and Medical Escort and Transport Services. On special festive occasions, they distribute festive gift packs of food and other necessities to them.

One senior, Mdm L, said, “I am very touched to receive this blessings and love from the little ones. I shall remember to pray for their physical fitness as they grow, and protection since they are too young to be vaccinated and also for their parents as they teach them morally and spiritually.”
One other senior, Mdm Latha, commented, “It is extremely sweet of the children and parents to give us this goodie bag, thank you all little children and their parents, and also volunteers who came over to give the goodie bag. God bless!”
