Bridging generation gaps: We are encouraging our K1 and K2 children to accept people of all ages, capabilities and limitations. We are providing both child and adult with direction and purpose and alleviating isolationism for elders.
Children in My First Skool @Blk 541 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 shared their love and care for our eldery home at (Lions Home Bishan).
The children created hello cards to properly introduce themselves to the dear elders at Lions Home since they were not able to visit them physically due to COVID-19.
The children were also engaged in activities like assembling art supplies in individual bags to be given to the elderly. For this month’s art activity, the elderlies at Lions Home will be making a DIY photo frame using materials such as ice cream sticks, coloured paper, pom pom balls and more! To help the elderly better understand the steps on how to do the craft, we also created a step-by-step instructional video to guide them along the way. They can then use the photo frame to keep and cherish memorable photos.
