The children reviewed the topic of myopia through discussions, watching a puppet show by Health Promotion Board, and using Hot Seat to interview their peer who uses spectacles.
They also discussed how a child can develop myopia and illustrated activities they could do to give their eyes a break from the screen.
The children were introduced to visual disabilities as well and reminded that their disabilities cannot simply be improved through healthy eye habits. They talked about the different kinds of visual disabilities and how they can aid those with low vision.
They were also introduced to tools that aid peers with visual disabilities; the children worked together to create a large picture story book.
