For the first time, Tots & Teddies, teleported all our children (Infant Care to Kindergarten 2) “Back to the Good Old Days” in Singapore.
Our children will engage in a variety of diverse experiences that are “Uniquely Singapore” - the old school games and play activities, fashion, housing and food cultures - the era where there was lesser tech and it was okay to get messy and dirty, not forgetting about the “Kampong” (community) spirit. We will also focus on sustainability and the 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle as well as giving back to the community, in which, we live in our learning process.
We launched the school-wide SSDB project on Tuesday, 1 June 2021 where our highly enthusiastic children and Teachers came
dressed in their olden days fashion from the 60s - 90s. A specially curated menu of Homemade Kaya Toast, Fried Singapore Hokkien
Mee, Mung Bean Popsicles & Peanut Pancakes awaited all the hungry learners!
Our children engaged in old school games, song & music and were accompanied by stories of the past. We enjoyed our meals
together and had a virtual catwalk to showcase all our outfits.
What a great way to kickstart our SSDB project - so much more fun and excitement awaits as we dive into a month full of explorations!
