With the current situation that we have nowadays, we launched our S.S.D.B. Project via zoom with our K1 children and parents on 20 March 2021.
This year, our community partner is the National Kidney Foundation (N.K.F.). Our objective is to send a gift pack to the aunties and uncles at the N.K.F. - Bedok Dialysis Center. So to remind them that we had always remembered them and bringing joy and hope to them, even when we were unable to visit them.
It was an informative and interactive session, where children and parents learned a lot from the Health Talk provided by Ms Ginni, the N.K.F. speaker. She helped us to understand Kidney Health and Prevention Measures. She focused on the importance of maintaining healthy habits and the treatments for dialysis patients.
The session ended with smiles on each child and parents’ face, which we believe a good start in making a difference in the children’s lives as little ambassadors of goodwill and service.
